Tracking
Orlando Dog Training Club offers one day of AKC tracking tests each year – in December. ODTC does not offer Tracking training classes.
ODTC’s tracking tests are held outdoors at Lee Vista Center in Orlando, Florida.

December 6, 2009 ~ Test Results
The ODTC Tracking Test went very well on Sunday.
Two of the six dogs
entered passed their TD tracks to earn their new Tracking Titles and were able
to take home the glove! Thank You to Tracking Chair George Light for all his
organization of people and equipment. Thank You to track layers Paul Reep,
Martha Chamberlain, Ron Handy, Maggie Eslinger and Mary Lynn Kontrafouris (a
volunteer and member of Tracking Club of Central Florida). Mary Lynn came all the
way from Inverness and then volunteered to lay two tracks even though Paul said
he would do it! Thanks Mary Lynn!
AKC Rep. Diane Schultz was in attendance testing prospective Tracking Judge Suzanne Bird. It was nice to see both of them and to learn things from their perspectives. Congratulations to Suzanne for passing her test and pending AKC approval will become a new tracking judge!
The photo of the two teams who passed is to the left. Pictured in the photo, left to right are: AKC Tracking
Judge Ron Seeley, Provisional Tracking Judge Luci Seeley, Exhibitor Janet Berry
and “Token” (Sunfire Token Red Won RA, TD) Australian Shepherd, Track Layer Paul
Reep and Exhibitor Gail Standiford and “Remi” (U-CH Botrina N Equinox Imagine
That RE, CD, TD) Doberman Pinscher. Thank You to the Tracking Judges and Track
Layers for their hard work! Congratulations to these successful new Tracking Dog
teams! Photo Credit goes to Stan Dudek. Thanks for the great photo!
