PROJECT PET-LUV

ABOUT PROJECT PET-LUV

Project Pet-Luv is sponsored by the Orlando Dog Training Club.  Project Pet-Luv is a volunteer visiting program for people and dogs who are willing to share some of their time and love with others not so fortunate.

We hope to bring smiles and love into the lives of others.

Coordinated by the Orlando Dog Training Club, Project Pet-Luv's purpose is to recruit and provide guidelines for pet owners to visit nursing home residents, care centers, schools and hospitals.

Volunteers and their dogs work together to bring a bit of love into lives of shut-ins that miss their own pets or where pet facilitated therapy may prove to be beneficial.

Education is also a big part of Project Pet-Luv.  Pet health, obedience demonstrations, and tricks are included when one of our volunteers come to your loved one's facility.
